I used to be nice and furry and fluffy and ohhh so cute, see.

And then one day mommy got this "great" idea to make me feel better for the summer. I get shoved into the PTU stuffed into the big metal box, and then..ohh lord..the things they did to me, the torment. And you know what mommy did? She LEFTED ME! She just up and dumped me with these agents of evil and left!! ARGG! I came home and this is what I look like now!

Note the back of disdain? I am perfecting it lately, giving mommy the evil look, ignoring even temptations! I am going to sit out here and plot my downfall of all mommys and daddys who think that this is a "great look for summer" for us nice and fluffy kitties!

Well, the one good thing mommy did when she was "busy" was take lots and lots of pictures of us! So, we guess we can forgive her a bit since that should cut down the flashy box being stuck in our face time for the next few weeks.

For the summer look, we are doing the lighter color of the Tabby Tummy Toes and Twenty Winks for today.

Also, our internets are slow today and we don't think the paws can work the plugs on the router.

All this "March Madness" stuff has us confuzzled. Bulldogs, Mountaineers, Jayhawks, Wildcats, what is all this stuff? We have Wildcats and Badgers playing with a big ball right now, and later, Jayhawks and some Rebels will be doing the same thing. We don't have any Badgers in the house but we did find a photo of some.

Okie, so except for them claws, we think that the Wildcats can take it right? Mean, who would want to see this coming at them hrm?

Found Flashy Friday

Crap on a cracker!! Mommy got the flashy box out and stuffed it in our faces again. So, we thought we would give mommy a whole photoshoot of what should be deleted photos, but does she do that? Nooo...she gets back at us and makes us put them on our blog...grrr.

I mean it!! Look at those! She had to get a shot of me with my mouth opened! That is not lady like, and grr, she got my tarters in there! Does this mean I need a trip to the V-E-T?! dang mommy

Well, it was going to be wordless, but then mommy realized we never showed the end of the flashy box vacation tease.

It was going to be "fishy friday" but mommy went to see some guy named "BRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEE" and she didn't come home till late and didn't have a voice. We were wondering if she can see this guy again if it keeps her from grumbling at us?

So, here is what was going to be "Fishy Friday"

And then, this was going to be "Sea Ya Saturday" but mommy again lefted us!!! and went out with friends..grrr.

If You biggify it, there was another clue in there.

Sunday, was going to be "Solved Sunday" but the big hot box in the basement died, and we spent to day covered up with the warm blankets and not moving. Monday we got a new hot box in the basement, and then we came back in after all the strangers left. Mommy got grumbling with us again cause we got in the mud and we had to get all of our tummies washed. Dexter whined like a baby, hehe.

So here is "Solved Sunday"

We will try to find more flashybox vaca photos this week and show them to everyone, saves the flashbox from getting pointed in our faces, hehe.

Well, we really didn't go anywhere. Our flashy box took a vacation with the grandbeans and mommy took that as a sign to not dig into our photo stash but to save it for later times.

So, this is a clue as to where our flashy box took it's vacation.

Valentine's Day Snuggles

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!!

We didn't get mommy anything for Valentine's day, we doubt she would appreciate a mousie or a baby bunny, so we might just give her snuggles. Snuggles are good especially with purrs tossed in for free.

Here I am trying to snuggle with mommy as she stuck the flashy box in my face, not bad for having to do it between her and the sofa arm with no room.

Freckles is wondering if mommy would like her "evil kitty" tugging toy. It now looks like frankenkitty with the stitching that grammy had to do so it's stuffing wouldn't fall out anymore.

We better clean up before we snuggle the verrrrryyy cold night away with mommy. She needs to study for some quizzie thing tomorrow.

Our "heart" to every kitty and their beans out there in the blog o'sphere and a big one to mommy for putting up with our furs and barfies at 5am on her bed.

Hello!! It is my day, no more of my brother, today is about ME! Since it is too cold out, here are some photos mommy took of me when I used to be forced into this torture device when I was outside. Now, they let me out cause they trust that I won't leave the yard.

Hello everyone!! We are sorry we have not posted lately, blame it on mommy and her excuses, pftt. Today, we are going to start our how we got here tails. Since I was here first, well first with this latest batch, I get to go first!

Mommy doesn't know much about my wild life before she sprung me from the shelter, and I don't tell much, I just look cute. Mommy was volunteering at NHS in 2001 when she was walking and looking at the cat cubbies, this was my opportunity! I turned on the charm, flopped and rolled and looked cute and charmed mommy. Well, me and some other cat in another cube next to me. We both got our shots to tell this lady why she should take us, we both tried our best and in the end, woohoo, mommy chose me! The peoples at the shelter told mommy that I was about 3-5 years old (the vet said closer to 3). Mommy also found out that I was part of a ..gasp...confiscation!!! Mommy guesses that someone was trying to do good, but things got out of hand and they had too many kitties so some had to be gotten rid of.

Mommy rescued me from living in a small little cube at the shelter, even thought it is bright and airy, I got to come home!! My gotcha day is Feb 16th, 2001, I was a Valentine's Day kitty!! Since then, I have seen my first two brothers go over the Rainbow Bridge, Stinky and Menice (Mommy needs to find photos of them and tell their stories too). And I have seen my two cousin kitties come to live with mommy and I and now they have pretty much moved into the house. I have a woofie too that we got in 2004, who..don't tell anyone..but I actually get along with and like, most of the time.

So, for now that is my life up to now. I am spoiled, I get to go in and out, but not out so much in the winter, as Mozart says, "In is better!!"

There is one blog in the long list that I read that honestly, I think more people need to find out about. A Place to Bark...and Meow is about Bernie Berlin and her joys and life running a dog rescue out of her house! They are non-profit, and are in the running for one of four $50,000 Network For Good grants being awarded during America's Giving Challenge.

This is late going up, but I will try to post more information tomorrow. As for now, the basics are.... for a min of $10 donation you would be helping Bernie become a top 4 winner. The group with the most donations wins. So lets go and help as many four legged family members as we can okie?

Well mommy amazed us today, or totally embarrassed us, we aren't sure. We mentioned that mommy has a bit too many blogs in her blog list, well today, we finally got around to visiting each furries blog that she has on the list! Some haven't been updated in a few months, and others we read but didn't comment on, sorry about that.

We will work better to comment and also we need to get the blogger of the world badge up on the sidebar tomorrow.

We are going to now hold a meeting debating if we need to have mommy committed for having that many kitty, woofie and other furries blogs on a list.

Springy Saturday, and Sending Hope

Mommy tells us that spring is right around the corner. It was nice euff today that even DeeDee got brave and went outside!! Okie, it was only for 5 minutes, but that is 5 minutes more than she has been outside since October. Mommy even walked the woofie today, and she didn't need a winter coat and took her mittens off half way though the walk.

Mommy went to the flower show at the Cathedral today, and she took a ton of photos. She will not bore everyone with all the photos, but most of them, haha.

A Donation Maybe?

We read that Tripper has a slight fur issue and that there are donations being taken to make him get through the tuff time while waiting for his fur to grow back in. Mommy furminated DeeDee tonight and this is what she got.

I have told mommy she needs to get more pictures of me on the blog, since ya know, my name is on here! The problem, I don't sleep with mommy, I sleep on the sofa and these two sleep with mommy. Mommy has tried to get me to sleep with them, but nope, not going to happen.

Wondering Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

We were wondering and would like to hear opinions. We have both canned and pouched stinky goodness here. We really don't care what brand, well most of the time, we will eat most of it if we feel like it.

What we wanted to know is what do other kitties prefer? Canned or pouched? And if canned, how much a day do you get? We are not sure on if canned food once opened, does it go in the fridge or left out and with a plastic cover on it? We get about a fourth of a can at a time during the day, so can have anywhere from 1 to 2 cans a day depending on how hungry we are or how dried out and icky we can make the stinky goodness look, hehe.

Stinky goodness? You got it? Where? GIMMIE!!

Hello kitties!!

It is getting a bit warmer here today, a whole 22 degrees out. Yippie!! Mommy did feel like the staypuff marshmallow man while walking the woofie in all of her layers but she was warm she said.

We were very sad to read about Caesar on Sunday and wish to add out thoughts to the ever growing list of friends that will miss Caesar. Mommy always thought he had a look about him that he was deep in thought and might let you know what he was thinking.

Mommy forgot the password for our blog, grrr. Today it is really really cold here, the weatherbean says it is feels like THREE BELOW ZERO outside! BRR! We are all inside and sleeping today, mommy is running around doing Saturday things so she doesn't have to do them tomorrow cause she is going out tonight. We think she is silly to go out in the cold, but beans are always silly aren't they?

losing her paycheck that had days before and after christmas shut down on them
not finding any backbone and calling her about the job she interviewed for with 4 different people
and was told she would hear tonight
for her current boss, who she loves, scheduling her with the witchy librarian and cutting her hours down

So warning now, this is honestly what should would like to do to the university. Sorry for any bean or puddies or anyone with a very uneasy tummy.

Us, Addicts? Naaaa.....

Today was a free day for mommy, so she went and got some "stuff" ya know the good primo ohh my goddddd "stuff". It was on sale, so that was a good thing, but there were only 2 of them, and in a 3 kitty house, 2 isn't good! But some of us share, and one of us doesn't very well, so all is good.

Mommy's battery in the camera was dying so this is all she was able to get of us enjoying the "stuff". She also finally!! pulled out our fevers!! She has had them in the closet and always forgets to get them out. Now, we can destroy it and make her get a replacement, haha.

This is my perfect, 'move the flashy box or I will leave a bad "present" on the quilt' look. I have done it in the past, mommy knows that, that is why there is a sheet over the quilt.

So, on to the ohhh so primo NIP!! Mommy never bought me nip before, the grandbeans figured, the kitties won't play with that, why buy it. Pffttt, silly grandbeans! They said the same thing about Temptations, and yeah, we proved them wrong! haha! So, mommy was looking for the nip bananas and they were out of them, grr. First the woman thought we were looking for banana flavoured nip, eww bluckie! Mommy finally convinced them, no a toy shaped like a banana filled with nip...ohh...we are out. But we do have these candy canes from the same place, on sale. That was a key word, sale. Never can resist a sale mommy can't. So we got 2 nip candy canes!

New Year, New Kitties!

Hello everyone!

Our mommy has been reading cat bloggies for ages now and she finally is giving us one, yippie!

Right now we are all sleeping, one of us got brave and is outside in the snow trying to find a bunny.

After our naps we will try to find something interesting to talk about. But for now, here are some pictures of us in warmer months.

This is me, the princess of the house, that is what my mommy says, I am pretty much spoiled and I deserve it!
